About Us

We absolutely love sharing our beautiful old mill with guests. For the past 8 years we have been renovating the mill itself. The mill is now fully intact but without the water flow it can no longer run and produce flour. We have kept all the historic workings in their rightful place wherever possible so that visitors can imagine how it would have been when under power.

We live in the bottom part of the mill and are always out observing the wildlife or going on local walks so come and ask us about any part of the mill or the local area.

Linda is passionate about creating a warm and welcoming environment for every guest. Her attention to detail ensures your stay is exceptional, from luxurious Egyptian cotton linens to cozy woodburners and a thoughtfully designed garden space.

Top Tips from Linda and Kevin

"Step through the garden gate and follow the path to the river, where you'll find stunning scenery and walks through fields and woodland. The river is a haven for wildlife, with chances to spot kingfisher, herons, wagtails, dippers, woodpeckers, trout, salmon, and even otters."

"We welcome you to enjoy our orchard, complete with a large picnic table, fire pit, and space for family games like rounders, croquet, and garden Jenga. A wood store is available for extra logs, charcoal, and firelighters."

"We hope you enjoy The Old Mill House with it's beautiful surroundings as much as we do and have a great time with family or friends in this lovely space."
